How the site earns money
ExtremeSpec Auto publishes information, buying guides and product listings about performance and tuning parts, and it does not sell anything itself. What it does earn is a commission when a reader buys through certain links on the site, at no extra cost to the reader. The affiliate network we use is Amazon, and a purchase made after clicking one of these links may result in a small payment to us.
As an Amazon Associate, ExtremeSpec Auto earns from qualifying purchases.
What commissions do not influence
Commissions do not change what we recommend or how we describe a part. The ExtremeSpec Auto Editorial Team builds guides from manufacturer specifications and buyer feedback, following the rules in our Editorial Policy. A product without an affiliate link can appear in a guide, and a product with one can be criticized where the specifications or owner feedback give us reason to.
Prices, availability and your choices
Prices and availability are set by the store and may change at any time. The price at checkout is the one that counts, even if it differs from what a guide showed when we last updated it. You never have to use our links, and you can buy any product from whichever store you prefer.
After you click an affiliate link, the store or network may set its own cookie so the referral can be credited. That cookie comes from them and not from this site. Our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy explain what the site itself does.
